At The Bridge House Hotel, car park Stone Cross Penkridge ST19 5AS
Refreshments will be available.
Depart from The Bridge House Hotel at 11.30am (approx) turning left on to the A449, then left along the Teddesley Road for six miles to Milford.
Turn right at the Barley Mow P.H., Go past Shugborough on your left. Take the next left to Great Haywood, left at the next cross roads and through the village to the A51, and then turn left.
After half a mile turn right through Hixon to the A518 and turn left to Amerton which will be on your right.
The trains will be running and there is food available as well as various crafts to enjoy. There is also an indoor play area for the children, so don’t leave them at home.
Second part of the run
As you exit Amerton turn right to the A51 down to Lichfield, and then turn left onto the A5 to Chasewater for the big trains and further refreshments. The last train runs at approximately 2.45pm.
